CAUTIONS
Only use glycerin or water-based lubricants with the urinary system. Silicone lubricant should not be used.
Use of lubricants not approved by Laerdal may reduce functionality and cause damage to the urinary system.
NOTES
Common skin preparations such as chlorhexidine and povidone iodine-based products may be used safely without staining the genitalia. See Cleaning section for recommendations on cleaning.
If users are using coloring pigments for urine, use catheterization with clear water to flush out the urine.
Priming the urine system
Before starting a simulation, the urine system must be properly primed to ensure correct functionality. Completing these steps ensures the urine system is ready for use during the simulation.
Activate the urine function in LLEAP.
Insert the catheter into the manikin to remove any air from the urine system.
