Cleaning the pelvis skin
If PPH has been used, start by cleaning the blood tubing before removing the pelvis skin.
CAUTION
Make sure the cloth is completely dry before using it around electronics.
NOTE
Make sure there is no fluid accumulated in the simulator under the skin. Use a paper towel to clean the area.
Clean the pelvis skin with water at the sink. Allow to air dry.
Put the pelvis skin back.
Zip the pelvis skin.
Attach the urethra plug.
NOTE
Make sure the plug is tightly secured to the bladder so the urine doesn't leak inside the Patient Simulator during a scenario.
Put the retention ring back.
Press down hard on the retention ring to align the thumb screws before screwing.
Place the two thumb screws back.
Plug the eight plugs on the pubic bone.
